The late 90's rave scene returns to LA! 5/9

What an awesome Saturday night in LA. It's sort of a nostalgic thing...

Tonight we've got the super massive rave Audiotistic (a staple of the mainstream rave scene in the late 90's) and then, MORE importantly a F.A.M.I.L.Y. event (once the best of the underground dance community) It makes me happy to have the FAM crew doing their thing, amazing vibes and great group of old friends!

Start your weekend off right, with a pool party (this is how we do in LA):




Round 3 of BoredLA’s art and music show is taking place this Saturday, May 9th from 7-11pm.


"This time around, things are better than ever. More art, more music, more activities, and food! This is the opening of the I Like You(r Art) group exhibition featuring over a dozen talented local artists including David Phillips, Krystle Swaving, Chen Luoshu, Alex Pandel, Hannah Kim, Jonathan Bussiere of Hips and Hair, Mike Galasso, Cecelia Webber, Bryan Carberry, Katie Raphael, Ben Koffman, Alex Alkana, and more tba. Tien Nguyen, Alex Alkana, Poor Friends, and DJ IVANPARTY will entertain you through out the night on the stage in the Ragazzi Room. Next door at Bacaro LA, they will be offering a special menu for the night featuring cheap food and cheap wine! By the way, if you haven’t heard, their food is to die for. Ragazzi Room will also be serving up sandwiches and a wide selection of coffee and tea. The night will also feature the city-renowned Ratscratch Photobooth, live graffiti art, video projections, interactive art wall, “I Like You” grams, Lovely Ruxton Headbands & Palavar literary magazine on sale, party photos, chalk revolution, etc. Also, we are asking for $1 at the door to raise money to keep putting on events for all of you as well as to keep this blog up and running! If you can’t pay it, we won’t turn you away. It will be a very fun and laid back evening, with great people, and incredible artists!"
