"This is Shane here with your personal invite to a music/art/cabaret/party - We are throwing at El Cid (friday August 7th). My band "Carousel Galaxy" will be hosting the event as well as performing. This will be the last show til the band comes back from rocking out at Burning Man!

For art and consciousness culture aficionados, here is a last
chance to view the
“Portraits of Psychedelic Pioneers” exhibit by renowned Venice Beach
artist, Dean Chamberlain. If you have not seen this exhibit of
extraordinary light paintings, you have only a few more weeks to
turn on, tune in and drop by the 99 High Art Collective to witness
what people are calling "visually mind expanding.”

“ These light paintings are about the spirit of psychedelic pioneers
and their courage to explore frontiers of inner experience,”
explains Dean. The exhibit features portraits of psychedelic
pioneers including Timothy Leary, Albert Hofmann, Richard Alpert aka
Ram Dass, Laura Huxley, Terence McKenna, Richard Evans Schultes,
John Lilly, Nina Graboi, Ann & Sasha Shulgin and Oscar Janiger.

Meet Dean Chamberlain in person at the reception on Friday, August
7th. Prints from this collection purchased between August 1st and
August 7th will be sold for 5% off the listed price, and signed by
Dean at the reception. DJ JUPIT3R will be spinning along
with many more.

Complimentary drinks and lots of free love.

A portion of proceeds of art sales will go to benefit MAPS, The
Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, who have
