This evening, Family Affair would like to invite you to join us for the 6th installment of our “Parties With A Purpose”. Family Affair is partnering with Deutsch Advertising, The Algalita Marine Research Foundation, GLASS, Surfrider Foundation West LA/Malibu Chapter, DDO Artists Agency and Access Energy to support the Rise Above Plastics campaign. The campaign is dedicated to eliminating single-use plastic water bottles in the advertising and commercial production industries along with all other single-use plastic such as utensils and bags.
The commercial production industry alone uses 700 plastic water bottles an hour. It’s truly an appalling statistic, but this amazing campaign directly targets the problem and can help to reduce the amount of plastic water bottles ending up in landfills by almost four million a year.
